Legislative Advocacy & Lobby Day Fellow
Giovanny Rosario (he/him) was born and raised in Central Washington. Since an early age, he has been politically engaged in his community then took his activism to a new level when he became involved with NCW Young Voters holding policy forums and candidate debates in 2020. Giovanny has worked with The Washington Bus, Fuse Washington, No Hate in Washington State and other advocacy groups in the Pacific Northwest as a Field and Campus Organizer.
As the 2026 Legislative Advocacy & Lobby Day Fellow, Giovanny is excited to be working on mapping abortion deserts in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. His goal is to examine geographic, social, and structural barriers that limit access to reproductive healthcare in rural areas.
Giovanny hopes his project can highlight the reproductive healthcare disparities that many rural and minority communities face, and he looks forward to engaging with his community as he delves into his research.
