Deputy Director
Béné Bicaba (she/her) joined Pro-Choice Washington in 2025, bringing a global perspective and deep commitment to advancing reproductive freedom through equity, empathy, and collective action. Originally from Burkina Faso and a first-generation Black immigrant, Béné is passionate about transformative work through diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and anti-racist lenses. She believes that reproductive justice means more than access to healthcare, it requires dismantling systemic barriers and ensuring that everyone has the power and resources to make choices about their bodies, families, and futures.
Béné is passionate about creating structures where people and ideas can thrive together. She grounds her leadership in listening, transparency, and the belief that sustainable change starts with communities most impacted by systemic inequities. Prior to joining Pro-Choice Washington, Béné worked with mission-driven organizations to design inclusive strategies, build community partnerships, and develop systems that help teams lead with clarity, empathy, and accountability.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, bouldering, and sharing lively conversations over dinner with friends and family.
