Voting matters. Now, more than ever. We have seen what happens when we sit on the sidelines and allow people and politicians to overpower our movement of love, compassion, and community. We will not allow that to happen any more.
Pro-Choice Washington believes in your voice and in your right to vote. We believe in the importance of voting in ALL elections – from local races, like school boards and commissioners, all the way up to the presidential election.
Elections matter because every single political position has the power to restrict or protect reproductive freedom. Vote!

Election Results
During fall 2023, our organizing department worked hard to make sure Pro-Choice Washington’s endorsed candidates made it across the finish line, and we are proud of the outreach done and the outcomes!
At a glance:
- Over 2,500 voters were contacted statewide in coordinated canvasses with campaigns and partner organizations
- 16 out of our 20 endorsed candidates won
- Over 50 volunteers (teens to retired folks) activated to do electoral work
2022 Elections Review
In 2022, 85% of endorsed candidates won their elections and 100% won their primaries! We helped flip the 42nd district and make important gains in 26th. Voters showed up for abortion rights!
2021 Elections Review
In 2021, we narrowed our focus to the most at-risk districts and 68% of endorsed candidates won their elections! Turnout was low, and one candidate’s race was decided by only 50 votes!
