Digital Campaigns Fellow
Keira Murphy (she/her) joined Pro-Choice Washington in January of 2026 as a Digital Campaigns Fellow and is thrilled to be sharing her passion for universal reproductive justice and bodily autonomy through Pro-Choice Washington’s digital multimedia projects. Born and raised in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., Keira is deeply motivated by the power of civic engagement and organizing on every level. A current senior at the University of Washington studying English and Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies, Keira brings work grounded in strong feminist analysis and written communication to Pro-Choice Washington.
In addition to her work with Pro-Choice Washington, Keira serves as the Secretary for Huskies for Reproductive Freedom (H4RF), the organization’s student chapter on the UW campus. Through H4RF, she has participated in legislative advocacy, campus resource distribution, email and social media campaigning, and collaborative event planning. Some of her favorite projects include coordinating an annual reproductive justice-themed trivia fundraiser, her zine-making work with the art activism committee, and supporting a comprehensive sex-ed panel on campus. Her experience with H4RF has continually affirmed her belief in the immense value of organizing in community and the power that can come out of locally based work with passionate and supportive individuals.
Outside of her organizing and academic work, Keira is an avid reader, music lover, and junk-journaler. She loves spending time outside and traveling—and is currently on a quest to travel to every U.S. state.
