Abortion Access Fellow
Clareta (she/her) joined Pro-Choice Washington in September 2023 as a research fellow. She is excited to continue her work as part of the Abortion Access fellowship.
Born and raised in the Seattle area, Clareta has long been passionate about ensuring that all people have equitable access to comprehensive reproductive health care. Previously, Clareta volunteered for several years at Planned Parenthood as part of their health center advocacy program and also helped to advocate for passing comprehensive sex ed in K-12 public schools. She received her B.S. in Biology and more recently, her Master’s in Public Health from the University of Washington. She is eager to be able to use her education and experience as a public health practitioner to protect access to abortion and bodily autonomy.
