FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WASHINGTON – Pro-Choice Washington’s Political Action Committee is excited to announce its first round of endorsements for candidates in the Washington state primary election. These future leaders have demonstrated that they will advocate for reproductive freedom across Washington when elected to serve.
As a leader of pro-choice grassroots organizing across the state, Pro-Choice Washington endorsements are critical for our members and the community at large to ensure they are supporting and voting for candidates who will be champions for reproductive freedom when elected.
“We continue to see anti-abortion politicians strip away people’s ability to access abortion care, even if it means putting them in life-threatening situations. And we have seen an influx of patients traveling to Washington state.
“2024 is the year we go further to protect and expand access up and down the ballot. By electing these champions, this puts us one step closer to making Washington the most pro-choice state in the country.
“We are proud to endorse these candidates, and we are ready to get to work alongside our members to ensure they are elected this primary and move forward in November,” said Paul Dillon, Political Manager, Pro-Choice Washington.
For this election cycle, Pro Choice Washington is proud to endorse the following highlighted candidates: Emily Randall for the 6th Congressional District, Bob Ferguson for Washington state Governor, Manka Dhingra for Attorney General, Jessica Bateman for Senator in the 22nd LD, Maria Beltran for Senator in the 14th LD, and Brynn Felix for 23rd LD.
