Pro-Choice Washington’s 2023 Advocacy Day

Please join Pro-Choice Washington at our in-person Advocacy Day in Olympia at the Washington State Capitol Campus on Tuesday, January 24!

The purpose of this day is to train our activists how to lobby their lawmakers so their voice can be heard during the upcoming legislative session. Here’s a tentative breakdown of the day:

In the morning, activists will be placed into legislative teams based on where you live. You will receive training on the basics of lobbying, review the legislation you will be advocating for, and learn what an in-person meeting with your lawmaker looks like. We will provide coffee and light breakfast.

In the afternoon, Pro-Choice Washington activists will march to the capitol steps for a reproductive freedom rally featuring several speakers. Afterward, Pro-Choice Washington activists will disperse and meet with their lawmakers to share their stories and explain why these bills should be legislative priority. We will provide lunch.
