Seattle Design Intern

Available: Rolling admission

Reports to: Development & Communications Director, Communications Specialist

Hours: 10-15 hrs/week (flexible)

Compensation: Unpaid


NARAL Pro-Choice Washington is the state’s leading pro-choice advocacy organization.



  • Create engaging digital content for NARAL’s various activist and fundraising campaigns
  • Assist in design creation for events, newsletters, and visual campaigns
  • Learn to work with printing houses to deliver assets
  • Learn to create on-brand visual assets for digital platforms
  • Learn to use analytics to optimize visual content
  • Learn to use visual brand guidelines
  • Research digital campaigns based on social media engagement
  • Participate at on-site NARAL programs as needed


Qualified Candidates will have:

  • A commitment to NARAL’s pro-choice mission
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented
  • Excellent computer skills:
    • Social media platforms
    • Google drive
    • Microsoft office
    • Adobe Suite
  • The ability to work independently and with others
  • Dependability, flexibility, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Openness to learning and growing within the internship experience
