Digital Content Strategy Internship

Available: Rolling admission
Reports to: Communications Specialist
Hours: 10-15 hrs/week (flexible)
Compensation: Unpaid


  • Manage content creation on our social platforms
  • Assist in brainstorming campaign plans with the Communications Specialist
  • Track social trends weekly and report findings to the Communications Specialist
  • Help create weekly editorial calendars to promote reproductive freedom issues
  • Engage in conversation with our digital audience via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Assist in copy creation for digital platforms such as newsletters, social content, and more
  • Take photos of activists and attendees at NARAL events as needed

Qualified Candidates will have:

  • A commitment to NARAL’s pro-choice mission
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong editing skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented
  • Excellent computer skills
  • The ability to work independently and with others
  • Dependability, flexibility, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Openness to learning and growing within the internship experience
  • Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
