Tessa Aiken (she/hers) joined Pro-Choice Washington in November 2019 eager for the opportunity to be involved in advancing reproductive freedom. She is energized by being part of a movement and organization that has the ability to make change, she is encouraged by our member base and team. Tessa believes that every single person deserves bodily autonomy and that regardless of their identity or location deserve equitable access to affordable comprehensive healthcare.
Tessa Aiken spent her formative adolescent years in Central Washington and graduated from the University of Washington in June 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Prior to working at Pro-Choice Washington, Tessa advocated for criminal justice reform through her work with various non-profit human rights organizations such as the Human Rights Defense Center and the Seattle Clemency Project.
